How to Get a Refund for Your Oyster Card (deposit and credit) | London Tips | Love and London

If you find yourself with left over credit on your London Oyster Card (the card you use to use London's public transport) here's how you can get the money back. Also, if you get an Oyster when you arrive to London, you can get your £5 card deposit back using this method.

*This will work only on Oyster machines (not train ticket machines like at London Waterloo), and some don't have the functionality. You might need to ask a staff member at the tube station you're at for some help with getting your refund, as they may need to do it manually for you.
